Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-07

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Bicaption (bicaption.com), provided by Grace Orbit, LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use Bicaption.

The service

Bicaption provides live bilingual captions and translation for meetings, plus meeting history with transcripts, summaries, and action items. It runs in the browser and works alongside any meeting software.

Your account

Keep your credentials secure and your account information accurate; you are responsible for activity under your account. Host seats are for individual people as described by your plan — sharing one seat between multiple hosts is not permitted.

Plans, metering, and billing

The Free plan includes 2 hours per month. Paid plans are metered by the minute against a monthly allowance or annual hour pool; overage is billed at $3 per hour. Current prices and plan limits are listed on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from "Manage subscription"; billing stops at the end of the current period and you keep access until then. Annual plans are refunded pro rata by the greater of elapsed time or hours used.

Your content

You own your meeting content — transcripts, summaries, and notes. You grant us the limited license needed to process and store that content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your meetings, including obtaining any participant consent required for transcription in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

Do not use Bicaption for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of others, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it without our written agreement. Creating multiple accounts to evade free-tier limits is not permitted. We may apply fair-use safeguards to keep the service reliable for everyone.

AI output

Captions, translations, and summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors. They are not certified translations. Review AI output with a human before relying on it for legal, medical, financial, or other consequential decisions.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, or remove features, and we will not materially reduce what a paid plan includes during a period you have already paid for.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grace Orbit, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using Bicaption and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where practical we will warn you first.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
