Neither. Viewers open the link and read captions in the language they choose — no signup, no plugins, no seats used. Billing only counts the audio time you (the host) actually use.
Seats are for people who run meetings: they create meetings, draw from the hour pool, and own the archives. Viewers are governed by the per-meeting viewer limit and are always free. That is why Business seats are genuinely unlimited — hours are what cost money, and hours are what you pay for.
Viewing languages: 60+, on every tier, never priced per language. Spoken languages currently center on Mandarin and English and keep expanding. Any tier can pick any language pair — tiers only differ in how many viewing languages can run concurrently in one meeting.
Cancel anytime from "Manage subscription"; billing stops at the end of the current period. Annual refunds are prorated by the greater of time or usage — normal users simply get the remaining time back.
